Cerasorb^® - the innovative bone regeneration material for the entire skeletal system

Cerasorb^® is an implantable, entirely resorbable, ≥ 99% pure phase beta-tricalcium phosphate certified for the regeneration of bone defects in the entire skeletal system. Furthermore, it was the first synthetic material to be certified in Europe as a carrier for patient's own PRP (platelet rich plasma) in June 2000.

Because of its purity, Cerasorb^® was filed as the worldwide reference for β-TCP by the ICDD (International Center of Diffraction Data, Pennsylvania, USA).

As a purely synthetic material Cerasorb^® is free from any risk of material-induced infection. Cerasorb^® does not contain any substances of human or animal origin. The material is resorbed and replaced by natural, vital bone within a few months (depending from the location and size of the defect). The material is mainly used in dentistry (augmentation of bone after tooth extractions and apicectomy, in periodontology, in implantology), in orthopedics (e.g. hand- and spine surgery), traumatology and sports medicine.

Cerasorb^® is available in different granule sizes as well as in block forms and modified as Cerasorb^® PARO and multi-porous Cerasorb^® M.
