Kleinostheim , November 9, 2005 – Today, curasan AG ( ISIN DE 000 549 453 8) listed in the Prime Standard, has placed 500,000 new ordinary shares, in the form of bearer shares, as a capital increase. This capital increase was submitted to the Supervisory Board on November 8 for approval and authorization on the same day.

The capital increase of EUR 500,000, from currently EUR 5,250,000 to EUR 5,750,000, was executed within the framework of existing Authorised Capital (so-called “Genehmigtes Kapital”).

The shares offered in this private placement round were exclusively subscribed by institutional investors. The subscription right of shareholders does not apply. The issue price of the new shares is EUR 2.60 per share. The new shares have a dividend right, effective January 1, 2005.

The proceeds from this offering will primarily be used for a new product line which will be introduced by curasan AG shortly.
