Performance of studies, registration of Cerasorb® expected in 2003

As curasan AG announced today, important steps were taken to start the distribution of their lead product Cerasorb® in China around end of next year.

Two major universities in China will conduct studies, which are prerequisites for the registration. Recently, curasan has performed pre-marketing activities, such as the participation in congresses and symposia and contacts to opinion leaders. Besides the USA, the market entry into this important growth market is expected to take place in the near future

While introducing curasan in Guangzhou, Xi'an, Shanghai and Beijing, the positive results of various international studies on the application of the bio-resorbable bone regeneration material Cerasorb® were discussed in detail between curasan's management delegation and distributors, dentists, orthopaedists and surgeons. Thereupon, partners for distribution could be identified.
