curasan AG markets innovative GPI System
Added value for implant surgeons and dental laboratories
Kleinostheim, 20 June 2006 – curasan AG (WKN 549 453) is launching the Guided Positioning Implant System (GPIS), which will allow implantologists to reduce treatment times per patient by around 50%. This will open up tremendous opportunities for dental implant specialists to enhance internal efficiency levels.
GPIS facilitates the creation of individual high-precision templates within the field of implantology. The device is capable of translating digital image calculations into fully automated drilling operations of superior accuracy, thus eliminating the need for time-consuming manual settings. The standardised process leads to more accurate implant positioning – an essential prerequisite for premium-class dental treatment in conjunction with the REVOIS implant system.
"One of the key benefits of the GPI system, both for the patient and the clinician, is that high-precision provisional prostheses can be produced by the dental technician prior to the implant treatment," explains curasan's CEO Hans Dieter Rössler. "This alone reduces the number of visits required. The innovative GPI System is an extremely cost-effective solution for implant surgeons, patients and dental laboratories allowing best possible aethetics and junctional results. This device also underlines our commitment to expanding curasan AG's portfolio of dental products."
