Hip replacement revision

Hip prosthesis revision surgery usually involves a large bone bed defect that can not be solved with autologous bone. Cerasorb^® granules offer an ideal solution for these patients, who are often elderly or osteoporitic. Autologous blood from the surgical site can be mixed with Cerasorb^® granules to provide a natural enhancement of bone regeneration and allow resorption of the granules in parallel to new bone growth.
