Collection and processing of personal data

Newsletter and event registration

If you subscribe to the information service offered on the website or wish to register for curasan events, we need personal information from you including an e-mail address that permits us to check whether you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and agree to the receipt of information. To verify your e-mail address, you will initially receive a registration e-mail, which you must confirm via a link (double opt-in). These data are used exclusively to send you the requested information.

For our general newsletter we use MailChimp, a newsletter tool of The Rocket Science Group, LLC (d/b/a MailChimp, 512 Means St., Suite 404, Atlanta, GA 30318, USA; “MailChimp”). MailChimp offers options for statistical analysis of use data. These include, among other things, information about whether an e-mail was delivered to the recipient or whether it was rejected by the server.
